Parents and Community for Fremont (PAC)

PAC Meetings
Scheduled for 7 pm , the 2nd Wednesday of each month
(Teacher's Lounge, Fremont Elementary School).

PAC is a nonprofit organization established in 1995 by Fremont parents and community members to raise money for Fremont. It compliments and supports the PTA's efforts of service. PAC's mission is to provide resources that will enhance the learning environment and education of the students at Fremont. PAC works with the teachers and administrators to identify and fund school needs.

The purpose of PAC is primarily to raise money for our school. The money is used to fund the Computer Lab (computers and instructor's salary), and to purchase instructional materials (i.e., Literacy Lab and Library books, science supplemental materials, playground structures, printers, new marquee, library bookshelves, auditorium chairs, etc.).

EScript Fundraising has begun!. See how to renew or sign-up for this great program which helps raise money for Fremont.

In addition to raising money for Fremont, PAC has three other important goals:

First goal: to build open lines of communication with our teachers and staff members so that they can tell us their needs. We believe that PAC has a duty not only to raise money, but also spend it where it is most needed. We achieve this by talking to our teachers, having a teacher serve on PAC and having a grant program by which teachers and staff members can make requests to support the instructional program.

Second goal: to keep our families and community informed regarding the needs of our school. We send out flyers in the Thursday folders, publish a quarterly newsletter, and target our fundraising events for a specific need, like new computers.

Third goal: to express appreciation for donations. We believe that every family and community partner should be told how important their participation and commitment are to the success of our school. Without their participation, we wouldn't have PAC.
