Fundraising

Fremont has various fundraisers throughout the year. PTA organizes fundraisers for:

  • Assemblies
    Plans and funds 5-6 assemblies annually, looking for diversity of topic and quality of presentation.
  • Teaching Tools
    Gives discretionary funds to each teacher for their classroom, allowing them flexibility in planning and spending.
  • Library Services
    Funds allow for a library room, not an librarian. The PTA has assumed that financial burden and has provided much needed books as well.
  • Chorus Teacher
    Funded school chorus programs offer instruction to grades 4-6. The PTA covers the costs to also offer musical exposure to grades 1-3.

Fundraising Background

The combined annual budget for Fremont PTA and PAC is a little over $100K. This amount allows both groups to provide additional services and resources for our children. The $100K breaks down to a $150 per student cost.

For those families who generously reach or exceed this amount annually, Fremont graciously thanks you and says...don't stop! For the rest of us, $150.00 (per student) may seem like a lot of money initially, but it breaks down to only $15 each month throughout the school year...certainly a more palatable amount.

The PTA and PAC simply request that we all keep the needs of our children in our minds throughout the school year and try to give a few dollars more whenever possible. Every little effort counts. The time spent with our children at home and the time volunteered at school (any task) are priceless gifts to them and to Fremont!

PTA and PAC thank you for your time, talent, and donations. Let's give from our hearts all year long in every way possible, knowing we're doing our very best for those we love the most.
