Art Docent Program and “Reflections”

Keeping art education in our curriculum.

Room Parent Program

Assigning and training a parent volunteer for every classroom to ensure communication and support among the teacher, parent and class.

Legislation Advocacy

Tracking legislative policies that might affect our school and children.

Hospitality

Thanking our teachers and volunteers in many ways. Hosting parent- and family-gathering events such as Howdy Coffee, Parents and Pastries, Welcome Back Picnic, Picnic at School, and Family Game Night.

Parent Education

PTA Newsletter and Thursday Folder flyers on health, safety, and parenthood. Family Nights for social health and development.

Emergency Preparedness

The PTA helps update the school’s emergency supply shed.

Red Ribbon & Walk-to-School Week

Health and Safety issues brought to the forefront.

Green Team, Earth Week & Civic Awareness

Offering opportunities to teach civic, social and ecological
responsibility through Food and Toy Drives and Green Team Projects.

Spiritwear & Yearbook & Calendar

...are services that PTA has shouldered to support school spirit and pride and help develop a sense of civic belonging.

As projects and needs arise at school, the Fremont PTA is a ready resource of assistance to relieve the burden on staff, e.g. STAR testing proctors, etc. PTA’s mission is to provide service and assistance to our school and our children. Our by-laws do not allow excessive time in fundraising, yet there are costly services we feel are crucial to our purpose at Fremont.
