Mrs. Christin Walley

Welcome! All of us at Fremont want to make this a successful year for your child.

I can not wait to continue our tremendous progress in the area of writing. In the past five years, our California State Test Writing Scores have steadily improved and we couldn't be more thrilled! Now just think of what the future holds for our students as they become proficient writers! Truly - the sky's the limit!

With your continued active support and cooperation, combined with our best professional efforts, we can ensure academic growth and success for your child this year! The goal of our school is to provide each student with challenging and rigorous curriculum appropriate to his/her academic level. We believe every child can achieve academic success. (See Mission Statement) To this end, every child will be provided with quality instructional experiences, which recognize, support, and maintain high expectations for all students.

In order to give each child the best opportunity for success, we ask that we keep children first in all that we do. If we accept and make real the pledge to keep children first, then it follows that education is our #1 priority. A school-community with those two concepts as our core value and our common cause will stand ready, willing, and able to do what is needed for educating the children. I know that our Fremont School community is that kind of place. (See Developmental Assets)

As your principal, you can expect that I will reach out to you and ask for your support, ideas, suggestions and involvement. I will encourage you to join our team, our school family so to speak, where preparing children for the future is our number one priority. I pledge to do my level best to ensure that each child is challenged, nurtured, and provided with a safe and stimulating learning experience.

As we work together during the year, I invite you to stay in contact and let me know how you and your youngster(s) are experiencing school. There will be many opportunities for contact with me. Please do not hesitate or ever think your comment or concern is unimportant. Through teamwork, open communication, and a dedication to continuous improvement, we can make this school a place for your children to delight in and enjoy learning. We look forward to working together as partners in learning! Here's to a terrific year!"

Sincerely,

Christin Walley
Principal
